Hij moet wel heel zeker zijn geweest van zijn zaak, gezien het feit dat hij in 2019 voor $ 15 miljoen een huis aan het strand kocht op Martha's Vineyard!

Of course, the thing about Martha’s Vineyard is that it is a low lying island. And the thing about Obama’s mansion is that it is on the beach front.
WhatsMyElevation lists the elevation of their home as being 3 feet above sea level. Others place it at 10 feet.
Either way, either the Obamas made a very stupid investment, or they don't believe in the nonsense that they tried to bankrupt their country for.
Of course, Obama did promise us in 2008 that we will be able to look back and tell our children this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow.
Maybe he really was the Messiah after all!

In nevenstaande video laat hij zien dat zo'n 20 grote Amerikaanse kustplaatsen oliegigant Exxon Mobile aanklaagden wegens zowel het veroorzaken als het voor het publiek verzwijgen van toekomstige grote en frequente overstromingen door zeespiegelstijging bij hun steden, maar desondanks rustig stadsobligaties uitgeven zonder voldoende in te gaan op deze vermeende risico's, die voorzichtige obligatie-beleggers toch zouden moeten afschrikken ....... |

The Korowai, also called the Kolufo, are the people who live in South eastern West Papua in the Indonesian province of Papua, close to the border with Papua New Guinea. They number about 3,000.
It has been claimed that the majority of the Korowai clans live in tree houses on their isolated territory, but the BBC revealed in 2018 that the Korowai had constructed the tree houses "for the benefit of overseas programme makers" and did not actually live in them. Since 1980 some have moved into the recently opened villages of Yaniruma at the Becking River banks (Kombai–Korowai area), Mu, and Mbasman (Korowai–Citak area). In 1987, a village was opened in Manggél, in Yafufla (1988), Mabül at the banks of the Eilanden River (1989), and Khaiflambolüp (1998). The village absenteeism rate is still high, because of the relatively long distance between the settlements and the food (sago) resources.
The distinctive high stilt architecture of the Korowai houses, well above flood-water levels, is a form of defensive fortification – to disrupt rival clans from capturing people (especially women and children) for slavery or cannibalism. The height and girth of the common ironwood stilts also serves to protect the house from arson attacks in which huts are set alight and the inhabitants smoked out.
